Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before purchasing tickets or attending Swift Rockies 2026 ("Conference," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing a ticket or attending the Conference, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, or attending Swift Rockies 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not purchase tickets or attend the Conference.

2. Ticket Sales and Registration

Ticket Purchase

  • All ticket sales are final subject to the refund policy outlined below
  • Tickets are non-transferable without written permission from the Conference organizers
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or admission to anyone at our discretion
  • Ticket prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect tickets already purchased
  • Early bird and promotional ticket pricing is available for a limited time only

Registration Requirements

When registering for the Conference, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain and update your registration information as necessary
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your registration
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Refund Policy

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@swiftrockies.com. Refunds will be processed according to the following schedule based on the date of the refund request relative to the Conference start date:

30 to 60 days 50% refund
Less than 30 days No refund

Additional Refund Conditions:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval
  • Processing fees charged by payment processors may not be refundable
  • Refund requests due to medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Workshop add-ons are subject to the same refund policy as the main ticket
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or partial attendance

4. Code of Conduct Agreement

By attending Swift Rockies 2026, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have read and agree to abide by our Code of Conduct
  • Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the Conference without refund
  • The Conference organizers reserve the right to take any action they deem appropriate in response to Code of Conduct violations
  • You will treat all participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff with respect and professionalism

Our Code of Conduct is designed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. We are committed to enforcing these standards to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

5. Media Release and Photography

By attending Swift Rockies 2026, you grant us the right to:

  • Photograph and/or videotape your image and likeness
  • Use, reproduce, and distribute such photographs and videos for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes
  • Use your image in future marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertisements, and promotional videos

You understand that:

  • You will not receive compensation for the use of your image
  • These images may be used indefinitely and in various media formats
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, you may opt-out by contacting us in advance or by informing photographers/videographers at the event
  • We will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests, but cannot guarantee you will not appear in crowd shots or background footage

6. Conference Content and Intellectual Property

All content presented at Swift Rockies 2026, including but not limited to presentations, slides, workshops, and materials, is the intellectual property of the respective speakers and presenters unless otherwise stated.

  • You may not record, photograph, or reproduce presentation content without explicit permission from the speaker
  • Distribution of recorded content without authorization is prohibited
  • Conference materials provided to attendees are for personal use only and may not be redistributed
  • The Swift Rockies name, logo, and branding are trademarks and may not be used without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Swift Rockies, its organizers, sponsors, speakers, and affiliates (collectively, "Conference Parties") shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your attendance at or inability to attend the Conference
  • Any cancellation, postponement, or modification of the Conference
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Conference content
  • Any personal injury, property damage, or theft occurring during or in connection with the Conference
  • Any technical failures or interruptions

Maximum Liability: In no event shall the total liability of the Conference Parties exceed the amount you paid for your Conference ticket.

No Warranties: The Conference is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Event Cancellation or Postponement

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Conference at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Circumstances beyond our control (force majeure events, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)
  • Insufficient registrations
  • Venue unavailability
  • Safety or security concerns

Cancellation: In the event of cancellation, we will provide a full refund of the ticket price. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation expenses.

Postponement: If the Conference is postponed, your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email and posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services or attendance at the Conference after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Conference shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Swift Rockies regarding your attendance at the Conference and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
